Most companies use a Business Code of Ethics to help guide their employees’ behavior and act ethically. However, the question remains whether they deliver on this promise or not. Do Business Codes of Ethics really improve the ethical culture of companies? Or are companies just wasting time, energy and resources on an initiative that is not helping, or in the worst case scenario, may be hindering progress towards a more ethical organization?
